We will gladly accommodate bus group tours. Just give us call with your planned day and time and we will work with you.

- $5.00 Adult
- $3.00 Student admission (13 - 18 years old)
- FREE for any children 12 and under accompanied by adult

Annual Events held at the Prospect House
February --Join the descendants of the James (Cap) A. Colehour family for a new display of antique valentines. Many of the valentines are over 100 years old. Meet special guests on Valentine’s Day such as President Abraham and Mrs. Lincoln.May -- “Tea With Kay” A chance to visit with some of the great art work of Kay Johnson, granddaughter of Cap and mother of Jay, our museum guide. Tea and snacks will be served.
Memorial Day Celebration.
June – Monroe Crossing will give a benefit dinner and concert for the Prospect House Museum.
July – Celebrate the Fourth of July with the Prospect House.
Join a special garden tour to benefit the Prospect House.
Last weekend: Celebrate with our Civil War Commemorative Event where you will find Civil War cannons and re-enactors, campsites, tours of the Civil War Museum, music, refreshments.
August – Visit our soda booth at the Renaissance Fest in Shakopee, weekends starting in mid month. Volunteers needed with a share of the profits going to the Prospect House.
September – Anniversary of the Battle of Chickamauga, 18th and 19th, where Cap was wounded in 1863.

October -- Join Cap’s family and step back in time for the treat of an old time Halloween. You might see a couple of Civil War Veterans!!
November – Veterans Day Celebration.
December -- Two 1920’s-themed holiday events will bring people together over hors d’oeuvres, music and a bit of theatre.
